Great location but has some issues

Pros

The location is great and the landlord didn’t raise our rent. Made a lot of friends in the building over the years. Rooftop access was a major plus.

Cons

The neighbors on nearly all sides were noisy. We had issues with moths. Landlord gave us a water bill once a year. Elevator never worked when I lived there.

I lived on the ground floor in an apartment with windows that faced an air shaft. The sound of the train was a gentle rumble that I got used to quickly — not bad at night or any time of day. I don’t know how bad the sound would be for apartments that face the train.
