Literally nothing. This was a disaster of a living situation. The only saving grace was proximity to the G (1-2 min walk to Greenpoint Ave station).

- Cleanliness: the apartment and building are filthy. The apartment I stayed in was owned by the landlord’s son and had cockroaches from Day 1. When I turned on the faucet, roaches emerged from the sink. There were also dead roaches on the bathroom and kitchen floors when I arrived, so this is an ongoing issue. Management refused to address this in a timely manner - took several messages from me for them to finally hire an exterminator, who didn’t show up for 1+ months. I ultimately left the apt early because of how disgusting it was. These people clearly don’t care about the well-being of their tenants.
- Noise: Extremely loud live-in super who blasts music at odd hours of the day, and doesn’t turn it down.
- Overall building condition: Building needs some basic renovation - I came across dead roaches on the staircase several times. The apartment I stayed in had a bathroom in terrible condition - the wooden door pane kept falling out (I didn’t even know this was possible), and sometimes the water color came out funky.

Address your cockroach issue and stop gaslighting tenants when they bring up very valid issues with your apartment. Also, tell your live-in super to get headphones or something - the loud music is obnoxious and inconsiderate.
