Very Loud, Bad Corner
Pros
Great location, close to many trains and buses.
Cons
Loud and aggressive people partying, fighting, using and selling hard drugs, revving and burning out their trucks/Harleys 24/7 right outside the front door. They camp out and catcall my daughters when they’re alone. Their music is so loud, good luck watching a movie or listening to your own music. Packages get ripped open/stolen often from inside the building. Mice running and fighting in the walls and ceilings for years. Cockroaches everywhere. One of the tenants uses his apartment to store multiple giant bags of cans he collects from the trash before selling them. Super is extremely rude and never cleans or fixes anything. The building’s laundromat is expensive and closes early. Weekends are packed. Walls are thin and you can hear and smell everything the neighbors do. Like their cooking and smoking. Spectrum is the only option for internet. It’s $80 a month and drops out almost daily. Prices keep going up. Rent goes up every year. The roof is covered with cell towers and warnings for cancer. No sunlight on Stagg side. Steam pipes throughout the apartment are boiling hot and require windows to be left open through the winter so we’re not cooked alive. No disabled access.
Advice to the owners
More security. More internet options. No more cockroaches and mice in the walls please.
