Location is great, stairs aren't too bad. Apartment has decent space and is decently rennovated.

Smell of the inside of the building, constant stench of paint and something else. Flies are constantly hovering by the door.

Great location - this area has so many great cafes/bars/shops/thrifting. Gorgeous view from roof (looking right at the skyline - stunning sunsets). Windows in every room (albeit some look out at another building). Also very spacious bedrooms. Responsive property management.

Mechanics/workers who come to fix things don’t really fix them. Our stove has been broken for awhile and when they came to clean/fix, the same issue persisted once they left. Also our fridge is horrible - freezer doesn’t work unless you make it cold enough to the point of it freezing things in the fridge. I developed an eating disorder here. LMAO. It’s also straight up cursed I swear it’s haunted. I feel presences in the kitchen/bathroom often 💀 Also our bathroom mirror shattered right when we moved in (they did replace it though). No screens in a lot of the windows, which we asked to be replaced and never were - meaning lots of bugs when the weather gets nicer. They do spray for bugs every few months or so though. Also disgusting smell at times in the building and nasty trash problem on the stairs to the right out of the front door with tons of flies everywhere. They get into the lobby of the building and just infest it. It’s disgusting.

The unit was also dirty when I moved in - windows open, bugs around, dirt and dust. The kitchen and bathroom were so shocking we contacted management and they brought a cleaner. So that’s a plus at least.

Railroad style isn’t ideal - not a great spot for hosting people. I feel like I went a little insane living in this layout.
