My apartment was beautiful! Hard wood floors, brand new kitchen appliances, great windows. The landlord was quick to respond to issues. I was given my full security deposit back.
Cons:
Bed bugs! I was not told before moving in about bed bug history. The person who lived there before me had bed bugs and multiple others in the building and next door had/have them, too. There were also a lot of cockroaches in the whole building, termites on the ground floor, rats in the basement, laundry machines were always broken, and landlord refused to turn up the heat. My apartment was regularly around 58 degrees in the winter.
Advice to owner:
Please help the older gentlemen who live in the building with cleaning. This might deter pests.
