When I lived here the landlord was fair. It's kind of a shitty building, but the price stays reasonable, and the landlord listens to you when things go wrong. We got a few months discounted when we were having trouble with heat, and again when there was constant construction. He wants to keep his tenants so he listens when younhavr complaints. The super is a character! He doesn't always fix the problem, but he's so enthusiastic and will keep coming back until the problem is fixed. Great neighborhood for the most part! Lots of families around. The rooftop is wondeful!
Cons:
It's an old shitty building and the floors are crooked, but you get what you pay for at that price range. The heat goes out sometimes, but the super is always quick to reply. They're less quick to reply to other types of calls, but always come out eventually.
Advice to owner:
Update the units with nicer appliances and put washer dryers in the basement.
