Huge bedrooms - lots of space; very close to the subway
Cons:
Building was not clean; issues with roaches; not responsive landlord (the front door was broken for 6 months); very thin walls between floors.

Pros:
I lived there for a over decade so I can speak on this. Neighbors are always a revolving door so can’t really speak on that. Though the few that stayed a lil while were pleasant. I had a bad roach problem and mice problem that would come down that beautiful brick fireplace. The mice would come under the door as well and would run across my stove. Landlord did nothing.
Cons:
Landlord will not refund deposit. He gives you a runaround and will ignore your efforts. I had to try through the courts. I still have yet to receive it and I’ve been gone over a year. He is not trust worthy and is driven on money. Lease is increased every year and one year he tried to raise my rent hundreds of dollars. Mind you I was the only consistent tenant in the building. It’s not a horrible apartment as it does have character outside the pest issue however management sucks.
Advice to owner:
Do right by your tenants and stop being an ass
