Uninhabitable noise levels. Barber shop blasted music all day, event space blasted music all night, often until 4am. People hung out and blasted music on the street. I didn't get a good nights sleep the year I lived here. Landlord claimed to be in the process of evicting the tenant, but that never happened and eventually they stopped responding to our complaints. We tried to get out of the lease, but weren't able to. Our contract was also tricky: they had our rent at $5k, but it was techincally $6500 with a rent deduction of $1500 for the first year, so when they offered us a lease renewal (which we would never have accepted) it was at $6500.
