Spacious apartments, very kind super, nice people in the building.
Cons:
Two fire alarms have been chirping every minute for almost a year. They’re in the building next door (same owner) and can be heard throughout the entire building. Noise from street. Trash is a problem. Disgusting hallways that are littered with cigarette butts and ash. Windows constantly falling off their tracks/breaking. Hot water is inconsistent. Lots of problems.
Advice to owner:
Just care a little bit? It’s not hard.

Pros:
good heat, solid walls, no package theft, responsive super
Cons:
serious electrical problems are deep and will never be fixed, water temperature fluctuates dangerously, complex repairs take forever to schedule
Advice to owner:
make sure manager and super have a clear list of priorities
