    Highway robbery when it comes to renewing your lease

    Pros:
    Clean, well maintained
    Cons:
    Landlord gave everyone in the bldg in 2022 a lease renewal offer with a 50% plus increase ($990-$1150 INCREASE).
    Apts flood when it rains
    Advice to owner:
    Don’t be greedy. Value your good tenants. Fix the leaks.

    Rude, unresponsive management, rooftop stabbing which landlord did not address

    Close to Q train
    Cons:
    Rooftop stabbing
    Leaks in windows when raining leading to apartment flooding
    Cockroaches and insects inside the apartment and management never addressed it
    Rude management
    High rent
    Advertises a roof but disallows tenant access
    Removed all seating from the roof deck. Why are we even paying for it?
    Advice to owner:
    Improve management communication. Hire pest control. Pay your employees fairly. Be kinder to tenants. This building is too expensive for what it’s worth. Rent raises not worth it.
