Don’t live here

Pros

Close to the park and train

Cons

I could write a book about the terrible things about living in this building. Seriously save yourself the headache and stress and look elsewhere. Since we moved in here in 2015 our ceiling collapsed from a water leak the landlord refused to take care of. This was only a few months after move in. He would lie that it’s been taken care of, we’re working on it or not even answer me. We have taken him to court 3 times now. Currently in litigation bc of the rat infestation in the basement and the lack of building wide essential services. They are required to keep sanitary public spaces which they do not. The garbage area has continually been over run with garage for years. There are giant roaches downstairs and rats living on the pipes above the garbage area. There is a serious leak in the laundry room that they just sprayed paint over to make it look like it was remediated. There is structural concern in the laundry room as the ceiling is literally disintegrating from the water leak. The washers and dryers never work . We have a broken window in the entrance. The 6th floor has an are of broken floor that’s never been addressed. In our apartment multiple outlets don’t work, windows leak, one doesn’t open just slams shut, our cabinets won’t close, tiles are broken and loose, the grout in the entire bathroom is disintegrating and tiles are loose/roaches come in from these cracks at the corner of the walls. We had leaks in my daughters room and the super ignored us and told us that he can’t do anything after 5pm bc tenants don’t want to be bothered - literally as water was pouring into the room. Mold developed and we only found it a few years later when my daughter developed asthma and severe coughing fits. We had it “remediated” and she just had a relapse this past week. Seriously , do not live here!!

Advice to the owners

You are cheap and awful.

Great location, horrible pests

Pros

Love the proximity to the train, Prospect Park

Cons

We have had a HORRIBLE time with mice and roaches. On a 6th floor, CLEAN apartment unit. Building as a whole does not seem to do consistent (if any) extermination.
