It's okay if you don't live in the front first floor units
Pros
There's on-site laundry, roof access, minisplit A/C in-unit, easy access to the Q, there's an on-site gym.
Cons
The gym smells terrible, I don't think it gets sanitized. The dryers take forever to dry, and the washing machines can't handle medium size loads. The management can take a long time to respond to support requests, if you live on the first floor be prepared to hate it. During the summer the residents from neighboring buildings will set up speakers on the street and play loud music until 2a - 3a. Living in the front first floor units is noisy, the front door can slam, if the fire panel is broken it will beep for days.
Advice to the owners
Sanitize the gym and get better washers and dryers.
Clean building, not worth the cost
Pros
Very clean, excellent super. Neighbors in the building very friendly, lots of dogs!
Cons
Be prepared to pay upwards of $500 in the winter to heat your apartment and still be freezing. This was truly one of the worst things about living here- our bedroom was 43 degrees several mornings and with the cost of utilities rising continuously, we were at a loss. Had to have someone come by multiple times to fix a draft and they finally said “it’s just how these windows are” and suggested I turn up the heat. Walls are also very thin, you can heat everything in the hallway. Have had issues with packages being stolen, people sleeping in the elevator, someone stole our supers bike out of the basement.
Advice to the owners
Replace the doors on the balconies so that they seal and we can heat our apartments without costing us a literal fortune.
