The apartment was huge and a great price for the area. The downstairs was clean and our neighbors were chill. Garbage was always dealt with in a timely manner.
Cons:
Dealing with The Hamilton Group was one of the most exhausting experiences of my life. We had a hole in our ceiling for MONTHS which they did nothing about and then because of the schedule of the person living above us, kept asking to come when neither me or my roommate were home, which we weren't comfortable with. We also dealt with incredibly loud rats that were never dealt with and one ended up dying in the wall. Microwave also frequently short circuited the apartment.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to your tenants!

Pros:
Apartment layout is very cute and spacious for what it is, charming (crumbling) exposed brick. Made lots of core memories here.
Cons:
Rat infestation, roaches, several cieling leaks, and building issues. The hallways are unsanitary and stinky. The super is overworked and underfunded so no real repairs ever get done and problems never get actually fixed. Management is useless and doesn’t care about the tenant at all.
Advice to owner:
It’s unfair and probably illegal to be renting out this apartment in the condition it is in before undergoing serious repairs.
