    Apartment in multi-family house near park
    Former Tenant
    Pros:
    Multi-family house with only two units
    Close to prospect park
    Cute neighborhood
    Large, spacious apartment
    Quiet
    Washer/Dryer in building
    Cons:
    No super so tenants are responsible for shoveling snow, taking out trash, cleaning hallways, etc
    Landlord is annoying…wants to come into the apartment every time he’s in town.
    - Landlord and his son have threatened to throw me out many times over the years despite being a reliable, clean tenant for 13 years
    - No lease
    - Old house…landlord has not painted or renovated apartments
    Radiators don’t work…one has never worked and landlord won’t fix it. When I first asked about it, he threatened to kick me out.
    Gross carpeting
    Broken, cracked windows
    One wall has separated from the floor in the living room
    Advice to owner:
    Respect your tenants privacy, get a super, and renovate the apartment
