Neglectful Super and Landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
The only thing I love about living here in my large 2nd floor apartment with high ceilings.
Cons:
Super lives on site with his entire extended family who are rude, neglectful and shady. Super doesn’t clean, do repairs, or even respond to emergencies. God forbid there’s no heat, a serious leak, or a security issue, don’t expect anything to be fixed. Super is unprofessional and does a crap job. The management company is no better. They fail to send the proper contractors for serious repairs like the ongoing roof leaks. They ask you to send repair requests to their email, yet you never get a reply. Stay away, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Advice to owner:
Maintain your building and get a new super!

Do not rent in 537-545!
Former Tenant
Pros:
There's no pro I can think of that can outweigh the cons below.
Cons:
The super and his family run this building! They have units around this building and god forbid you live above or below them. They all have washing machines that back up your tub, block up the lobby to use the storage units under the stairs, and if you express any concern they will begin to harass and intimidate you. The super is not full time and leaves on vacations throughout the year with no coverage. The families run year-round boarding houses for their friends and the units typically have 8+ people living in a 1 bedroom. My tub and sink have been backing up for almost 2 years and they can't resolve it because that would taking away their washing machine. Meridian Property Management is aware and choose to ignore it. Please stay away!
Advice to owner:
How many reviews here alone complain about the super? Are we really all problem tenants?
