-Most of our tenants are friendly -Tenants aren’t loud -Pets are allowed -Safe and quiet neighborhood
Cons:
-Poor Security (packages are CONSTANTLY being stolen) -Low water pressure -Windows are poorly installed -It’s cold in the winter -Rent is too high and late fees are high -Bathroom sinks clog on a monthly basis -Multiple repairs are needed within the apartments themselves -Landlady has an attitude -Payment methods are outdated (writing physical checks or filling out money order, instead of using cash transaction apps like a normal business owner in 2020) -Door to enter building needs repair -We need multiple supers on site -Roaches -(For non religious individuals) Building is located in a predominately orthodox Jewish community, so weekend night life activities are limited.
Advice to owner:
After speaking with other tenants, many have considered moving, especially since relief hasn’t been given to tenants during this pandemic. With all these repairs that need to be made, it would be humane of you to lower the cost of rent. Why is rent so high if the money isn’t going towards repairs?
