    Deteriorating building, nightmare landlord

    Pros:
    large space with freedom to do whatever you want
    Cons:
    roaches, mice, landlord won’t help with anything, illegal splitting of gas with both floors only on one meter, landlord tries to raise rent drastically on tenants, landlord keeps security even if apartment is returned in better condition than found, landlord is unresponsive in regards to literally everything, had to take landlord to small claims to receive security after 6 months of hassling him for it, backyard floods because of clogged drain that landlord won’t fix, house is not sealed and has terrible pest problem that landlord refuses to tend to, super dirty, literal garbage from previous tenants left in house and yard, broken appliances and huge objects that are costly to remove on your own.
    Advice to owner:
    take care of your building, stop trying to steal money from tenants.
