    Great Mom and Pop Landlord

    Pros:
    Cute old school Italian block. Responsive landlord. Rent below market.
    Cons:
    It was built in 1920 and is not recently renovated.
    Advice to owner:
    No. I would have already given any advice to the landlord directly.

    Pros:
    Location was great. It was a fine apartment. Landlord was a nice guy.
    Cons:
    Had some roach issues from day 1. It wasn’t very well sealed from the basement so they’d come from under the kitchen sink. Heat didn’t work very well/it was kept at very low temps.
    Advice to owner:
    Pest control & kick up the heat.
