    Friendly, Helpful, and Responsive Landlord; Atlantic Ave Too Noisy

    Pros:
    It was very cheap, owing to its being next to an above-ground train and Atlantic Ave, but generally pretty clean. You get used to the train noises. Well equipped apartment, and when the AC wasn’t working, landlord was quick and eager to find and install a brand new unit that worked great.
    Cons:
    While you can get used to the train noises, the sounds of traffic on Atlantic are harder to predict and more irregular. Never got used to that. There were cars whose alarms would go off whenever a train passed or a loud enough vehicle erupted nearby. That was infuriating literally constantly. Not much to be done about that, though, so no shade on management. Just the local environment.

    Also, I can confirm that they DID have bedbugs in June/July 2019.
    Advice to owner:
    Management is great, zero advice to be given. They were always so helpful and so eager to provide solutions. As mentioned, the equipment of the apartment was stellar. Just hard to live by that road.
