    Nice apartment crazy landlord

    Pros:
    Apartment was pretty spacious. Newer building. Good price. Quiet street
    Cons:
    Landlord is out of her mind and argumentative. Lives in the first floor unit. Will sift through your trash bag every time you take it out then knock on your door to complain about what you did wrong. Lacks privacy, and will knock on your door for whatever reason she has for the day and invite herself in to your apartment. Son handles the administration of the lease and is really unresponsive when it’s time to renew the lease. Asked him ahead of time to renew the lease another year, dicked around for 3 weeks when we asked him for an answer, then sent a letter in the mail to vacate instead of being a man and telling us via text. Really hot in the winter. Landlord controls heat in her unit and will not turn it down if you ask. Nice apartment but landlords are awful to deal with. There’s a reason nobody lasts more than a year here and their broker hates working with you and dropped you as a client
    Advice to owner:
    Mind your own business and stop messing around with tenants
