Good landlord, great block
Pros
Very responsive landlord. Didn’t raise rent during two years we were there. Monthly pest control services (there were basically zero pests in the apartment).
Cons
Apartment didn’t have heat or hot water when we moved in because it was a new boiler and they were awaiting city inspection, but landlord didn’t charge rent until it was turned on. Be wary of the broker. We were advertised a fee-free apartment and after applying and having been selected from dozens of other candidates, were asked if we wouldn’t mind paying the broker’s fee.
