Refused to return my security deposit - stay away!
Pros
The building is nice although you can find better apartments in bedstuy for cheaper. I never had any issues with the building itself.
Cons
The landlord is a scammer. He ignored me for months after I moved out and refused to return my security deposit. The law requires a security deposit to be returned within 14 days of the end of the lease and he only returned it 3 months later after I filed a complaint with the attorney general and threatened to sue him multiple times.
Advice to the owners
follow the law so you don't end up in court
