The staff (not management) are very helpful, responsive, and friendly- they make living here bearable;
Great light and views;
Central air and heat;
Close to McDonald’s.
Cons:
Elevators are frequently down. I’m on the 40th floor, and wait times for me are typically between 7-10 minutes in the morning. As of late there have been lines out the door to get an elevator back upstairs during rush hour, with wait times of 30 minutes or more. This has been a chronic problem for years;
Walls are paper thin. When my neighbor coughs, I jump because it sounds like they’re in my living room;
Being next to Flatbush kind of blows. Very loud, even from the 40th floor;
I feel like we should be getting a washer dryer in unit with the rent they charge. Or at the very least, supply enough washers and dryers for the entire building. Maybe even throw in a working elevator or two.
Advice to owner:
Fix the elevators already. And charge fair rent.

Great building if you don't need the elevator
Former Tenant
Pros:
In my two years here I have enjoyed the building's great location, outdoor grills, and friendly staff.
Given construction in the area you can probably get a good deal right now and its a nice place to live most of the time (see cons).
Cons:
There have been consistent elevator issues since the building opened. It's a regular occurrence to have 1-2 of the 4 high rise elevators out which results in long waits. One day in March 2024 was egregiously bad -- 5/6 elevators were out and it took an hour of waiting to get down and back up. If this was a one off event I could understand, but these elevators are unreliable at worst and occasionally unnerving at best.
Advice to owner:
Fix the elevators!
