Heaven in Brooklyn
Pros
great building staff and super responsive, communicative and POLITE management, well designed, accessible units. everything works and the location is a dream.
Cons
the planters on the roof deck could use some plants, the gym and common room sometimes aren’t the cleanest, the walls in the hallways are a bit beat up and there is a donation bin for a local organization in the hallway that is convenient but tends to become a messy eyesore.
Advice to the owners
only perhaps to give a little more attention to aesthetics in the common area
Satisfied so far
Pros
Have been living here a few months. This is a well-built, well-run building. Despite being next to BQE, it's nearly silent when my windows are closed. The temperature and humidity indoors is nice and consistent. Walls seem solid as I don’t hear my neighbors. Appliances work well. Maintenance is responsive and professional. The location next to the park (and ferry terminal) is wonderful.
Cons
The amenities are so-so: the gym is a little small, the roof terrace is small and only wraps around one quarter of the building with just a single table. The bike room costs money. No doorman late at night. The location isn't great if you depend heavily on the subway. A bunch of busy BQE onramps are nearby.
Advice to the owners
None for now
