    Good building bad management

    Pros:
    Central air and heat in each room, high ceilings, dishwasher, everything looked very modern. There’s a small shared backyard and rooftop. It had two 2 washers & 2 dyers in the building, since not many people live in the building it wasn’t hard to get one. Downside 1 washer was broken for ~3 months.
    Cons:
    The basement laundry area had several bouts of hundred of dead flies, very creepy and gross. Washing machine stayed broken for a few months without attempts at fixing. Walls are thin both in the apartments and hallways, I could always hear my roommates from each of our rooms, and when in the living room we could hear across the hall as well as upstairs/downstairs. Landlord is difficult to get in contact with, in my one year lease she would only reply to 1/3 members of the apartment via email.

    Pros:
    Upkeep/cleanliness is great; cleaner Dude can be seen start of the week and is always very friendly! Neighbors are decent, etc.
    Cons:
    Landlord responsiveness can be improved; sometimes mail/packages are missing, though not 100% property owner’s fault.
