Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on openigloo.
Recent reviews of 123 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn praise its prime downtown location, excellent staff, and well-maintained luxury amenities like the gym, rooftop, and lounge. Tenants appreciate the building’s sound insulation, cleanliness, and responsive management. Many note the convenience of features like full-service mailing and proximity to public transportation. Some drawbacks include occasional noise from the busy neighborhood, elevator outages, and minor pest sightings. The rooftop landscaping and furniture could use improvements. Rent prices are considered high by several renters, but overall, the building offers a comfortable, secure, and upscale living experience with attentive staff.

Absolutely love it here
Former Tenant
Pros:
The most convenient location in Brooklyn, close to public transportation, amazing staff, thick walls so no noise from neighbors, double pained windows so almost zero screen noise, also reflecting windows so no one can see into your apartment from the street, stunning views, rent controlled so no surprises when renewing your lease, beautiful views in the gym and rooftop.
Cons:
The lobby and lounge aren’t as nice as the rest of the building, they also stop landscaping the roof very early in the summer so it looks overgrown from August through May, also no padding on the roof furniture so you have to bring your own.
Advice to owner:
Please add a few more landscaping sessions late summer so people can enjoy the roof.

Amazing Staff and Great Location
Former Tenant
Pros:
The staff are really great - from cleaning staff to doormen. The building has the nicest finishes of any rental building in the area.
Cons:
Gym has amazing view but not the best equipment. Resident lounge is small. I also saw a mouse in my higher floor unit.
