Apt is great but not worth trouble with other tenants and lack of cleanliness
Former Tenant
Pros:
Had great heat until January 2022 when it got cooler on average; management and Super are always very fast and responsive with problems in our apartment; rent has not increased much since we moved in; most tenants are courteous, clean, and quiet; buzzers work well
Cons:
Broker was dishonest about multiple things on our lease and we found out when we sat down to sign; hallway floors and lobby are always dirty; there is one tenant who is loud, disrespectful, and dirty and in many ways they ruin the living experience for everyone else; kitchen and bathroom are outdated
Advice to owner:
Get rid of the disrespectful tenant and consider getting a new Super and new broker

Scary Building. Beware.
Former Tenant
Pros:
There are no pros to living in this building.
Cons:
This is the scariest and most disgusting building I have ever lived in in my life. First of all, the neighborhood is filthy and rude and is packed with creepy men. I am disabled and I get discriminated in and out of the building on a daily basis. The building is swarming with roaches, mice and mold. The stairs are literally crumbling and management does nothing. They are abusive and yell at you when you ask for help. Today, I found a bed bug and my partner and I are extremely clean. Every day, it’s something else. The management company does not care if their residents are dead or alive and refuse to help anyone. They just installed cameras on every floor without notifying any of the residents, yet won’t get an exterminator to rectify the mice and cockroaches. This building has been reported multiple times and it deserves to get shut down. Also, the people that live in this building are narcissistic and horrible. I could literally be lying on the floor dead and they’d step over my body to get by. If you care about your health and safety, and are marginalized in any way, DO NOT, for the love of the universe live here. It will destroy you.
