Neighbors were nice. Location was fairly good, across the street from a strip mall with a grocery store, pharmacy, and a parking lot. 10 min walk to Broadway subway stop
Cons:
Excessive water damage which led to a relentless roach and bug issue. Very drafty; the rooms were tough to keep at a comfortable temperature. Whenever anything broke we had to fight tooth and nail to get it fixed. And things hardly ever got fixed the first time
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive and take care of your property that is slowly falling apart

Lack of Care From Management Group Ruins Great Space

Pros:
- Great space for myself and my two roommates. Big room, big living area, nice kitchen
- Friendly super and friendly neighbors + neighborhood
Cons:
- Cockroach issues that caused me severe anxiety and were not dealt with properly despite many, many asks. We were killing multiple medium-sized roaches per day and big, big ones weekly
- Mold in the walls due to water damage
- Lack of responsiveness from management group on serious issues (roach problems, water damage, broken sink, plumbing problems in bathroom...I could go on)
Advice to owner:
Put the effort in to make the space a more comfortable spot for your tenants. That's not asking for too much, I don't think. The lack of empathy on dealing with pest issues was astounding and I can honestly say I've never dealt with anything so infuriating. I have been out of the apartment for a month and I still have nightmares about it. Besides my anxiety from this, the potential health problems that come as a result of pests and water damage are obvious to anyone. Figure it out for the future.
