Pros:
The building have pretty clean and renovated public area. Rent increases are moderate.
Cons:
Super really does the minimum about keeping the place secure. There are many package thieves in the area every few days a neighbor had their packages stolen, but the super doesn’t care to keep the food delivery drivers out (even though it’s not allowed), keep trash guys from leaving the door open forever, and doesn’t help you report to the police. It’s one thing if the nypd is useless and another thing that he makes getting camera footage so difficult. They also really cheap out on the interior. One example is that the toilet seats are wooden and god knows how old that is. There’s a building rooftop but they closed it to save on insurance. The insulation is terrible and the heat control never worked. It’s super hot close to 90 in the warmer winter days and not warm enough like barely reaching 70 in the colder days.
Advice to owner:
Change the package drop off area and give authorized delivery drivers and tenants access to them.
