Great location, only one set of neighbors, big and spacious apartments. In regards to maintenance issues the management company is extremely responsive and proactive when resolving them. They came by once the entire time I lived there which many New Yorkers may prefer. Initially accommodating when it came to rent payments during start of COVID-19 pandemic so we were thankful.
Cons:
Apartment owners clearly have some sort of financial investment in the bar downstairs, so if you have ANY issues related to the bar’s cleanliness, excessive noise, and/or your own safety, expect to receive no type of assistance from building management whatsoever. You will need to seek third party support if things get out of hand (I.E. Vermin attracted to their excessive and unorganized garbage, bugs coming into the apartments through the plumbing that’s connected to theirs, playing music excessively loud on weekdays until 4am). They refused to consider lowering our rent $100-200 amidst a pandemic, but ended up having to lower it more than $700 to attract new tenants after several months of having no tenants and what i imagine were significant financial losses. Also tried to have us move out with less than a month’s notice until we reminded them we legally were entitled to 60 days notice as tenants for two years.
