You Get What You Pay For
Pros
The modern design and fixtures in the units and throughout the building are nice. Feels like a discount luxury building. The multiple outdoor decks, laundry room (operated with your phone btw), and the fitness room all come in handy too. You can pay your rent and make maintenance requests online too. Another major plus is the proximity to public transport and the airport; the subway is literally next door and the LIRR is close by along with the various bus options. There are a lot of shops, corner stores, and various businesses on the strip a block away to check out too. You are also walking distance from the beach and boardwalk. All in all, a very comfortable place to live.
Cons
My main issue is honestly the neighborhood ie. the people ๐ nothing much you can do about that though. Can get a bit sketchy at night. We also had issues of people stealing packages but management has since resolved it so beware. The walls are a bit thin. Also, something to note: the units themselves seem a bit small. My bedroom space is almost completely taken up by my bed (a queen size). The laundry room can also get crowded some days and "backed up" due to people leaving their laundry in the machines hours after the cycle completed. All minor issues though.
Advice to the owners
They're doing ok for the most part. All I can say is keep doing what you're doing
