An Okay First Apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Onsite maintenance and security folks, gas appliances, laundry room (down the block, not in the building), close to Ditmars Blvd restaurants, shops, and subway
Cons:
Terrible pest problem: multiple sightings of rodents and cockroaches, non-responsive landlord (never met him/her/them), occasional domestic disturbances throughout the night, small bedrooms/closets, building-controlled heating was on at odd times throughout the year, water pressure was non-existent
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to your tenants, clean up the units before re-leasing them, get a better handle on the pest problems, and re-think rent pricing.
