The landlord refused a lease. He took away use of the drove way because of an unregistered car being there, when we couldn’t register the car due to covid-19 and the dmv being closed. Constantly harassed by the landlord after we explained our financial situation due to covid-19. Two checks were bounced and we were no longer allowed to pay with check. We needed to get a money order or cashiers check. He didn’t let us know about the bounced check until the second one bounced. Comes to the door randomly at all hours of the day. Parking here without the drive way is horrible. The heating is horrible. Always cold in the apartment. Windows are leaking the cold air in. Things would be broken for weeks before they were fixed. Neighbors were strange. Landlord raised rent 400$ even after we were struggling at the price we were paying and told him multiple times.
Advice to owner:
Listen to the news. Understand the tenets situations. Fix things right away regardless of rent.
