Great Landlord, Messy Neighbors
Pros
The landlord, Joe, is great and very responsive to maintenance requests. My unit in particular was gut renovated and now features nice stainless steel appliances. Across the street from a school and not a busy street, so it’s quiet at night.
Cons
We’ve had several cockroaches and a mouse. The landlord was helpful with the cockroaches (he came to spray the next day) but left us to deal with the mouse on our own. Neighbors do not pick up after their dogs, so the street is often very messy and smelly.

Decent, no-frills building
Pros
The neighborhood is quiet, neighbors are friendly
Cons
Have to nag to get things fixed, texts to landlord often go unanswered. Still have to pay rent with a check via snail mail, which is ridiculous for 2023.
