Good deal in the neighborhood

Quiet, landlord decent in terms of response, our apartment was in good condition open move-in
Cons
Common area very dirty, landlord could have been more responsive

Closed to subway station. Affordable rent for the area
Cons
Absolutely not enough HEAT in winter. Hallways and entrance are filthy and never get cleaned. Paint chips and spider webs everywhere. The manager’s family uses hallway as extension of their storage room is another thing. I heard from other tenants that they had roach issues in the past
Advice to the owners
Personal belongings in the hallway is potential fire hazard. You should have your manager clean your building- do some actual management of building
