Large apartments in great location but a bit unmaintained

Pros

Large apartments in great location with park right in front and easy parking for cars. Owner is responsive and usually gets maintenance done quickly. The apartments definitely have a very cozy vibe to them if decorated right. Good light if you’re room is facing the park, but unfortunately not very good light if you live in the other rooms.

Cons

Some aspects of the apartment are very old and needs to be maintained such as floors, kitchen stove, fridge, and bathrooms. Heat is also inconsistent and the apartment gets too cold if they’re off and too hot when they are on. Also the lobby door can only be accessed with a key, which is fine but the apartments are definitely set up in a way where the door could be opened from the installed intercoms.

Good Stuff

Pros

Great building at good price.

Cons

Always improving. Sometimes construction, but minimal impact on our day-to-day. Heaters were loud in winter but that’s very building with radiators in winter.

Advice to the owners

Thank you for being very reasonable and accommodating to your tenants (applies to both landlords who managed this property when I was there).
