Great building near Grand Central
Pros
Great doormen and porters, clean, not too many units, big apartments
Cons
Consistent churn with supers. Not a fault of the building but being near the UN, there are many protests (during the day)

Extremely loud next to the freeway exit
Pros
This is a nice apartment. The apartment is also more spacious than most in the UES area. Rent is reasonable.
Cons
If you are in the bedroom facing the street, it is extremely loud. All of the cars that exit off the FDR exit and turn onto 64th st. The windows are now soundproof; and in the summer with a window AC, you're out of luck. You'll need to get used to earplugs.
