Great building
Pros
-It’s a quiet neighborhood building that is well maintained with curb appeal -Easy to get in contact with both super and landlord -Apartments are renovated with new appliances and well kept -Trash and recycling regularly removed -Each unit is spacious because it’s takes up the entire floor of the building.
Cons
-Not a pet-friendly building -Property owner/landlord refused multiple requests to fix the buildings front door as it doesn’t auto-lock, which is an obvious security problem. -Landlord very particular and inflexible with tenant behavior. -Super only shows up on certain days/times of the week. Ex. if you have a problem on Sunday it won’t be addressed until Thursday eve.
Advice to the owners
Get a proper auto-lock on the building door, and stop putting the responsibility of securing your building on your tenants.
