Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback on buildings managed by Coty Napolitano reveals a mixed management reputation. While some residents praise the cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and friendly neighbors, others criticize poor responsiveness, unresolved pest infestations, and problematic garbage management. The management's approach is often seen as profit-driven with little flexibility, although some buildings benefit from attentive superintendents and well-kept communal spaces. Security deposit issues and slow communication are reported concerns. Tenants recommend management improve tenant relations by balancing firmness on policy enforcement with more empathy and timely responses to maintenance and pest problems to create a more humane living experience.

Reviews

Former tenant·6 months ago

Good building, bad building management

Pros

Great neighbors, wonderful neighborhood

Cons

Building management is unwilling to negotiate with tenants. Like all other big firm, only care about profit.

Former tenant·6 months ago

Very decent building and cute courtyard

Pros

Clean, nice lobby, storage for bikes or strollers and a charming courtyard. Recently replaced washers and dryers.

Cons

Laundry room was often busy and had to wait for machine sometimes or go weird hours. People left their old crap in the storage area and made a mess of it. I heard people had rats or roach problems (never did thankfully) but also heard management took care of it.

Advice to the owners

Treat people like humans. Be kinder and more understanding to those who always pay on time, never cause issues and keep things clean and respect the property. Often tenants don’t feel like humans. Make exceptions sometimes (see: tenants are humans). But also be more strict with those who make a mess and don’t respect the property or nope policies (I.e. aggressive pets)
