Mostly Quiet, Good Basic Apartments
Pros
Quiet for the most part, good layouts, nice area, the super is very friendly and helpful
Cons
laundry room is dirty and often broken, hallways are often dirty, windows and doors are very drafty, you basically have to deal with pest problems yourself
So happy to move out

I liked the super.
Cons
Very old. Tiles held together with duct tape. Destroyed wooden floors so dry they can't be mopped. Rapid dust accumulation. Areas of the apartment that are so grimy they will never be clean. Ceiling collapsed in bathroom and it took 7 days to fix. Couldn't shower in the meantime. Owners did not reduce rent. Heating in the winter was very poorly moderated. Required an open window the entire winter. Frequent cockroaches in the laundry room and occasionally in the units. Barely any space in the kitchen for both cookware and food. Cabinetry and counter tops are falling apart.
Advice to the owners
Gut it.
