Not bad for a first apartment
Pros
- maintenance within the apartment is always ongoing so the apartment building is typically very clean - the super is very quick to respond to any ticket requests that are put in - noise levels are great/good mix of elderly adults who’ve lived here for years and younger adults - elevator is always working
Cons
- this isn’t much I don’t like - wish there was better management of mail but that’s tenant focused
wish I could afford to live here
Pros
Great sunlight, beautiful appliances and laundry, convenient online rent payments, very sturdy and high quality materials and appliances (but expensive to run)
Cons
the 5 floor walkup was killer for anyone who isn’t athletic or even just slightly overweight. The apartment was TINY. No room for a table or chairs. No closet space. My clothes always smelled like my dinner. No insulation and the gas heater was old and very weak, too small for the space, I was constantly freezing in the winter. Like, it was 50 degrees inside on the subzero days.
Advice to the owners
Stop embezzling money. They said I couldn’t renew my lease (couldn’t get a hold of the landlord for 3 months?) and then it sat vacant asking 3,200/month ($700 more than I paid) for 3 years.
