Advice to the owners
Answer your tenants calls. Fix things. Hiring a super who knows what they are doing or at least who can speak enough English to understand the issues. Fix the plumbing!!!
Decent, but don’t expect good communication.
Pros
Nice, renovated kitchen. Clean building, fairly quiet and safe. No significant issues with utilities. Decent layout for the size of the units.
Cons
Very little communication with the super/owner. It was really unclear who we were even supposed to reach out to, because everyone we saw told us to talk to someone else, or didn’t speak enough English to help us. Theft of packages in the hallways was a big issue for until they added a camera to the lobby after MONTHS of complaints. Be careful if you frequently order packages, and maybe get them sent somewhere else. That’s why I gave the neighbors a low rating - it seemed like people who lived in the building were stealing the packages.
Advice to the owners
Make it easier for tenants to communicate with you.
