Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews highlight buildings owned by William Rudin in Manhattan as having a mix of positive and negative aspects. Residents appreciate the luxurious amenities and attentive staff, especially the doormen. However, concerns arise about rent increases, service delays, and building infrastructure issues. Some renters feel misinformed about rental pricing and urge for improvements in management responsiveness. Despite the drawbacks, the convenient location and well-maintained amenities make these buildings attractive options. Prospective tenants should consider negotiating rents based on market rates and ensuring timely maintenance responses to enhance their living experience.

Reviews

Yep, it’s a luxury building on upper east side

Pros

The real stand out of the building is the staff. The doormen are EXCELLENT. Appreciate the amenities, too.

Cons

I would stay in the building if it was financially feasible for me to upgrade to an apartment with another bedroom.

Could be better.

Pros

The building manager is lovely, the front desk staff are excellent, apartments provide good value and some pleasant views of Trinity Church.

Cons

There is an issue with pest control and while most of the maintenance staff are friendly, sometimes the head maintenance person can be less than friendly.
