Owners Unresponsive / Noise HORRIFIC
Pros
It's brand new, but they spared a LOT of expenses on insulation
Cons
Two washer/dryers for 12 units Noise from Metropolitan is horrific -- the building literally vibrates because of the trucks speeding down the road Management is terrible and cheap -- things are always broken and they don't care The apartments, while new, were done sloppily The trash guy comes a few times a week, but he stores the trash in the elevator, so if you want to take it, you're sharing the space with trash Cleaners they use STINK NOT energy efficient. I barely use utilities and my bill during the winter was $300+ Heat not included Did I mention management is terrible? DO NOT MOVE HERE. Don't believe me? Look at turnover on Streeteasy (no one stays more than a year!)
Advice to the owners
1.) Respond to people 2.) Act on feedback/requests 3.) Spend money on making these apartments livable 4.) Don't be jerks.
