Racist/worst landlord ever
Pros
I liked the fact the the street was quiet.the neighbors are very friendly as well.
Cons
James Munet is very racist towards people of color. While we were leaving there he used to make the worst comments about black people and when I called him out he never once tried to apologize. He said he don’t think he owed me any apologies. I lived in the basement and he never fixed anything that was damaged to the point where I had to call DOH. My apartment was always super clean but I used to still see bugs and pests which he said is not his problem so I had to deal with that on my own. Also he tried saying I was owing him a month’s rent when I paid him a whole month in advance. When I called him out on it he got upset that he was caught in a lie and ask me to leave. Childish. He also used to turn off the heat in the middle of winter & I had to call him several times to let him know I was freezing. (I took pictures)
Advice to the owners
Treat everyone with kindness especially those who rent from you. If your tenants have a problem try to get it resolved instead of making them feel uncomfortable.
