Not the worst but depends on your needs. Hell for me

Pros

Big apts with a lot of closets. Convenient to all shopping & F/N trains. Super was friendly & seemed to try but man things took weeks/mos to repair if he needed outside help. Sign-up for pest control in lobby. Elevator rarely broke down, maybe once per yr at most.

Cons

Pkgs stolen once or twice. If you have sensory issues get apt in back and/ or high floor. Even then there can be ppl who slam doors, yell in hallway (no carpet), or refuse to buy carpet. Major repairs can take forever i.e. water damage so bad they left hole in ceiling (hello giant roaches...). Roaches issues centipedes (proximity to ocean), occasional fly infestation for no reason. Ppl double park outside bc the road widens & shout/slam doors/blast music. NYE/4th of July you'll get free fireworks show. Fun fact: the N train shooter lived here (I think, or they at least found his car here). Not a great vibe but def not the worst.

Advice to the owners

Small fixes are cheaper than big ones/lawsuits. Renovate apts/ install hallway carpeting, fix things faster & you can charge more rent lol
