Bad building management
Pros
The neighbors great people & the location is convenient to travel mostly anywhere you want.
Cons
The owner is basically non-existent. He lives in Israel and leaves management company to do his job. The management company people are nice but there are dozens of buildings so don’t expect anything will get done. I had to clean the lobby, I changed the lightbulbs, etc etc etc. The second floor apartment is an illegal reno (no window in kitchen or living room) so the apartment is dark af. The smallest two bedrooms get good light but they’re small AF. The “bigger” bedrooms are dark af. The whole building is overpriced.
Advice to the owners
Please remember that your tenants are HUMAN BEINGS.
Traumatizing
Pros
Central heating/cooling in my apt, newly renovated
Cons
Management is unresponsive almost if the time, the building manager manages many buildings and seems to be spread very thin—you have to contact him multiple times before something is fixed. Many pests, saw mice, roaches, and the building is not taken care of at all. Landlord lives in Israel and that is the go-to excuse when something takes way too long to get done. Did not get my security back for many months after moving out
Advice to the owners
Actually take care of the building, garbage, pests, responsiveness etc
