Great, family owned building
Pros
Owned by a family that lives a couple blocks away. The daughter lives in the building. The maintenance guy is great and responsive. Overall, good!
Cons
It gets really hot. The floors are lopsided.

landlord harasses tenants

rent stabilized, location.
Cons
didn't have cooking gas for ten months--i finally had to move out. landlord and his wife would yell at and harass tenants. try to trick longstanding rent-stabilized tenants into moving out so they could "renovate" the apartment and raise the rent illegally over the rent-stabilization limit. there was a bullet hole in the front door of the building for years.
