Very good option in neighborhood
Pros
Building is well maintained and super /support staff is very good and responsive.
Cons
Owner/landlord can be a bit overbearing at times. Not a big issue though.
Gaslighting Landlords
Pros
The building, as well as the Super are fine. The heating is a mess in the winter but the Super is kind and responsive about adjusting it. Never had any pest problems but there was also no preventative work done by the building.
Cons
The landlords are truly horrible, gaslighting us on repeated occasions, even letting painters into our apartment without notice when no one was home. Then told us it was a mistake. Then went back on that claim, told us that they don't need to give us notice aboout painters or anyone coming into our apartment. When we first moved in, we got really nasty messages from the landlord about how inappropriate it was to text the old tenants about buying air conditioners (she gave us their contact information), or message her outside of work hours. Then she consistently messaged us outside of work hours. Ridiculous, awful, mean.
Advice to the owners
Reporting them to 311 after all the terrible ways they treated us.
