Pros
Amenities in the unit (w/d and dishwasher) Nice finishes in the building (crown molding, paint/lighting, feels nice) Responsive and exceptionally kind Super, Carlos!
Cons
Classic pre-war issues — have had issues with windows leaking, radiator leaking, water turning brown, etc

Definition of Ambivalent
Pros
Superintendent is responsive and cares about his job. Porters clean common areas regularly
Cons
Management office slow to respond. Implemented package room without telling anybody. My unit was barely turned when I moved in (not cleaned, prior tenant’s belongings were still there). Expensive for what you get, even by nyc standards
Advice to the owners
Identify issues more proactively, make meaningful repairs not band aids
